(1) Each fork name comprises a capital letter A (for A-fork) or V (for V-fork), and a fork number N. (2) the fork number N follows a space order number scheme of Left First & Right Last (LFRL).
For example, when three A (V) forks are created on a chart (see Fig 11a below), the fork on the left is named as A1 (V1), the one in the middle A2 (V2), the one on the right A3 (V3), no matter which one is created first or last. This LFRL space order number scheme is maintained during fork deleting process as well.
Fork anchor label's naming convention
(1) Each fork anchor label name comprises the fork name, and a small letter x, here x can only be one of 3 letters: a , b , or c . If x = a, it represents the fork’s anchor-a; if x = b, anchor-b; if x = c, anchor-c. For examples: A1 fork’s anchor-a is labeled as A1a, and V1 fork’s anchor-c V1c as shown in Fig 33c and Fig 43c below.
